Based in Hurricane, West Virginia, JW Soccer is conveniently located between Huntington and Charleston, WV and performs all sessions at Valley Park (Hurricane).

JW Soccer’s focus is on individual and small group technical training sessions to meet the individual player’s specific needs and goals.

Head coach Joshua Webb & his team are extremely passionate for the beautiful game and developing players of all skill levels.

If you are serious about wanting to improve your advanced game or a player that wants to begin learning the fundamentals – we have you covered.

Technical skills is what separates a great player from the pack.  The touch on the ball will dictate everything else that is to take place in the within a player’s game.

JWS focuses on improving the player’s technical skills such as first touch, body positioning, field scanning, striking, and movement.

The technical side of the game is where we draw our first focus, but then we engage a player’s mind; how he or she engages their skill set in order to beat their opponent.

Understanding the game, a field awareness, movement without the ball, breaking lines, force decisions, and engaging as a defender are all critical aspects of a player’s game.

A player’s fitness is critical to allow the technical and tactical skills to unfold.  We are a firm believer that a sound body is a sound mind and this is true in the beautiful game, as well.

The ability to endure large amounts of running, contact, and different paces in a match is critical to a player’s success.

We engage this in our training to ensure this does not become a vulnerability to the player.
